Let me warn any low flying Angels that The University of Alabama Crimson Tide Football Team is playing tomorrow night in Dallas, Texas for the opportunity to play again for the Sacred Sweet 16th National Championship and it is New Year's eve in Fairhope, Alabama so if their are any Angels planning to fly low over Fairhope, Alabama or for that matter The State of Alabama- please see the BEAR for a list of Alabama Fans that might just have the same idea I do!

I plan to fire a Mortar each time The University of Alabama Crimson Tide scores tomorrow night and this volley from the faithful may go on well into the morning hours of New Year's Day!

"It is NOT a requirement I might note in The Church of The Alabama "Crimson Tide" that you may attain Saint-Hood only after death! I think the requirements should pretty clear Brethren that one Saint Nick only has to continue to win National championships!

Brethren this is getting ridiculous- If you have won a National Championship of any kind be you man or woman you are "Officially Sainted at The University of Alabama and that's about it yall!"

DENVER, Colo. _ On a Sunday they didn’t even take a snap as they prepared for Monday’s AFC showdown (8:30 p.m.-Cincinnati’s Channel 5 and ESPN), the Bengals enjoyed one of their more remarkable days in recent memory when the Ravens stunned the Steelers, 20-17, in Baltimore, and old friend Ryan Fitzpatrick engineered an overtime victory over the Patriots in New Jersey for the Jets.

The Ravens’ win gave the Bengals their second AFC North title  in three years, their third in seven seasons, and the fourth under head coach Marvin Lewis.

Not only that, Lewis saw his two ex-coordinators make the NFC playoffs this weekend. Washington head coach Jay Gruden, who coordinated the Bengals offense from 2011-13, steered his team to a Wild Card berth on Saturday night and then in the Sunday night game Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer, the Bengals defensive coordinator from 2008-2013, joined him with a rout of the Giants.  

The 11-3 Bengals, now assured of a Wild Card Game at Paul Brown Stadium in two weeks, need a win over the Broncos to get a bye into the divisional round on Jan. 16-17. With the Jets’ overtime win over the Patriots, they can knock the Steelers out of the postseason next week with a victory over the Bills.

“We are happy to win the North again. We respect what a challenge it is to win each year,” said left tackleAndrew Whitworth, who has been there for the three latest titles. “But we set out this season with much bigger goals than a division championship. So our focus remains the same.”

The Patriots can wrap up the top seed and home-field advantage with a win in Miami next Sunday.  Since the Bengals have a one-game lead on the 10-4 Broncos, they could lose Monday and still get the No. 2 seed if Cincinnati beats the Ravens in the regular-season finale next Sunday at PBS and the Broncos lose to the Chargers at home. Or, if the Chiefs win at home against Oakland and Denver loses.

And they really want that first or second seed. The Ravens’ win came between practice and dinner for the Bengals, so a lot of them were at lunch. Whitworth was  one of them and his group watched the win, but it was not a champagne moment.

“It’s just a check mark on a much bigger goal,” Whitworth said.

Roll Tide 122315-A: 1988 Alabama vs Texas A&M: "The Hurricane Bowl"

Alabama Nation Faithful,

In hindsight the decision to move this game to December was a brilliant move by his Holiness Coach Bill Curry of The Alabama Crimson Tide!

What better than a Hurricane party in Alabama on Holy ground than in December to Celebrate a Victory against one of our Own!

It sure made up for the brick through the Window!

I think this Victory is what inspired me to visit Tampa for the 1st time to see The Crimson Tide play Michigan in a Bowl in a Stadium that doesn't exist anymore- i sure don't remember the name1

I do remember that Million dollar Band marching in under the Stadium though with a their chilling rendition of Roll Tide barely audible as they slowly marched onto the field that made you wanna say "Praise Jesus" we are at the Bowl Game!

The next year his Holiness Coach Bill Curry had us in New Orlean's at the Sugar Bowl to play Miami!

I must have been Celebrating the Victory over Auburn when his Holiness Coach Stallings announced his retirement because I knew from meeting him in person at a WKSJ radio Banquet that Coach Stallings wanted to win 70 games in 7 years!

Civilians have 24 hours to get out of the Capital of what-ever it is that ISIS or ISIL calls it and they better too if they mess with BAMA!

Even if we have to go over the President of The United States of America and use forces based in The State of Alabama yall will be smoking!
